According to <strong>Article III<\/strong>, it doesn\u2019t apply to pleasure yachts not engaged in trade, which sounds simple&#8230; until you dive into the fine print of national regulations (like the UK\u2019s) and realize that \u201csimple\u201d went out the porthole a long time ago.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:separator --><\/p>\n<h3><strong>What\u2019s Required from Yachts?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:list --><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><!-- wp:list-item Having the right <a href=\"https:\/\/499.ai\/\"><strong data-start=\"3339\" data-end=\"3367\">ship compliance software<\/strong><\/a> in place makes this process a whole lot smoother.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:heading --><\/p>\n<h2><strong>MLC (Maritime Labour Convention)<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><!-- \/wp:heading --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<h3><strong>What Is It?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The Maritime Labour Convention (MLC) sets international standards for the working and living conditions of seafarers.
